ee1f8b9cc0 Won't an increase in megapixels add to the overall richness and clarity of an image, even in a smaller print size like a 5x7? Especially a jump from 12 to 21 megapixels? Does the D700 have the same kind of focusing speed and ability to hold focus as well as the Canon 7D? What about the D3s? Do you know if it has higher megapixels, faster focus than the Canon 5D MarkII, full frame, good iso ability, etc? Thanks! I appreciate the input. You will never get a 24mm f1.4 for exsample on apsc. The center point of the 5DII is actually very good (in fact, better than the 7D's AF points in some ways) - but I rarely use the center AF point. Heck. ..
It should be a choice to have video or not. Even when the subject occupies a small part of the frame, you can just magnify by 50% or 100% and the camera will automatically focus on the subject. My overall verdict for the Canon 7D Mark2 is a definite yes for all kind of nature photographers. I was a little frustrated at the begining, but you learn to get through the flaws. Even in high end full frame bodies like the 5DM3 and 1Dx, using the live view can become a bit frustrating at times. Share .
